Our story

The full story

Sizesset was born from a booklet.
Not a recent one. A set of correspondence course materials from the 1970s, kept by a mother and passed on to her daughter decades later. Inside those pages was a method: structured, progressive, and clear enough to make someone believe they could actually learn to sew, and learn it properly.
That daughter was Célia, and those booklets changed the direction of her life. At the time, she was taking her first steps in sewing, working with magazine patterns stacked on top of each other, trying to figure out which size was hers. The booklets showed her there was a better way. They led her to pursue professional training in patternmaking, and eventually to a career spanning nearly fifteen years in the apparel industry.
Sizesset is what happens when that career meets that memory.
After years of working with fashion brands, designers, and entrepreneurs across the industry, Célia built Sizesset around a single conviction: that good instructions change everything. Not simplified instructions that skip the difficult parts, but complete ones, the kind that treat the person on the other end as capable of learning, doing, and creating something real.
The correspondence school no longer exists. The method lives on.
Sizesset operates across three verticals: Studio, for the professionals and brands that need expert patternmaking support; Draft, for those who want to construct their own patterns with their own measurements; and Patterns, for those who are ready to pick up the fabric and start sewing today.
Whatever brings you here, the work is the same: turning the idea of making clothes into something you can actually do.

Studio

Sizesset Studio is the professional arm of the brand, offering patternmaking services to fashion brands, independent designers, and entrepreneurs at every stage of development. With nearly fifteen years of industry experience, the studio translates creative vision into production-ready technical files — from the first draft to the final graded set. Whether you are launching a first collection, developing a new style, or scaling an existing line, Studio provides the technical foundation that makes it possible. Every pattern is built with precision, functionality, and the realities of production in mind.

Draft

Draft exists for the person who wants more than a ready-made pattern. It is a series of booklets that guide you through constructing your own garment patterns from your own measurements, no standard size, no compromise on fit. Each booklet covers a specific garment, combining pattern construction instructions with complete sewing guidance, so you can take a piece from nothing to finished without guessing what comes next. Draft sits between the hobbyist and the professional, built for people who want to understand what they are making, not just follow steps.

Patterns

Patterns is the most direct way to start sewing with Sizesset. Each digital pattern comes with the technical files you need and sewing instructions detailed enough to actually follow — because buying a pattern and then staring at a page of symbols is not the experience it should be. The first patterns focus on childrenswear, with designs sized from 2 to 12 years, and are built to be accessible to sewists at different skill levels. Download, print, cut, and make something worth keeping.
